Nutmeg Holiday Eye Look

Author: Vapour Beauty Staff

With a nod to the holiday season, this look spices it up. The celebrated shade in this soft and sultry eye look is Nutmeg, a rich copper with a hint of shimmering pearl.

STEP ONE LAY YOUR BASE

Lay down a perfect base of color with our Eye Definer in SMOULDER by first drawing a few strokes of the pencil onto the back of your hand. Then pick up the color with our All Over Shadow Brush and blend it across the entire surface of the mobile lid, building up a few extra layers closest to the lashline to intensify the color.

STEP TWO LINE THE EYE

Trace Eye Definer in SMOULDER along the bottom lashline and blend it out with our Crease Brush.

STEP THREE SHADOW PLACEMENT

Begin your eyeshadow placement by blending the shade NUTMEG from the Archetype Palette with our All Over Shadow Brush across the entire surface of the mobile lid and into the crease.

Soften your pressure as you blend higher into the socket line. The shadow should remain the darkest at the lashline and slowly fade out. Blend a small amount of NUTMEG with our Crease Brush into the lower lashline to further diffuse.

STEP FOUR LASH PLAY

Play up your lashes by applying several coats of Mesmerize Mascara in JET. Start at the root and wiggle the wand back and forth before pulling the product through your lashes from root to tip.

STEP FIVE COMPLETE THE LOOK

Blend a small amount of Bronzing Powder in ECLIPSE to the outer edges of the shadow to soften and diffuse the darker tone of NUTMEG. Adding bronzer into any eye look gives beautiful warmth and a polished finishing touch.

Balance the look with a warm natural lipstick like Lip Nectar in Desire.
